Refund & Cancellation Policy

Clear guidelines for refunds and cancellations - Last updated: January 2026

1. When Refunds Apply

Refunds may be considered in the following situations:

  • Project cancelled within 48 hours of agreement signing
  • We are unable to deliver agreed services due to technical limitations
  • Significant delays caused solely by BusyToEasy (beyond 4 weeks)
  • Failure to meet core project requirements as specified
  • Mutual agreement to terminate project early

2. When Refunds Do NOT Apply

Refunds are not available in these circumstances:

  • Change of mind after project has commenced
  • Delays caused by client (late content, feedback, approvals)
  • Scope changes requested by client during development
  • Third-party service limitations or costs
  • Client dissatisfaction with delivered work that meets specifications
  • Project completion beyond agreed timeline due to client delays
  • Custom development work that has been delivered and approved

3. Refund Process

When refunds are applicable:

  • Written refund request must be submitted
  • Refund amount calculated based on completed work
  • Processing time: 7-14 business days
  • Refunds processed via original payment method
  • Completed deliverables may be retained by client

4. Project Cancellation

Project cancellation terms:

  • Either party may cancel with written notice
  • Payment required for all completed work
  • Work-in-progress charged proportionally
  • Client receives all completed deliverables
  • Cancellation fees may apply for projects over 50% complete

5. SaaS Subscription Cancellation

For ongoing SaaS services:

  • Cancel anytime with 30-day written notice
  • Service continues until end of billing period
  • No refunds for partial months
  • Data export provided upon request
  • Account access terminated after final billing period

6. Maintenance Plan Cancellation

For maintenance and support plans:

  • Cancel with 30-day notice
  • Support continues through current billing period
  • No refunds for unused support hours
  • Emergency support may be available at premium rates

7. Custom Development Refunds

For custom software and development work:

  • Refunds calculated based on development milestones
  • Completed features and modules are non-refundable
  • Source code provided for paid development work
  • Intellectual property rights transfer upon payment

8. Dispute Resolution

If disagreements arise:

  • Direct communication preferred for resolution
  • Mediation available for complex disputes
  • Documentation review for scope clarification
  • Fair resolution sought for both parties

9. Force Majeure

In cases of events beyond our control (natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions), project timelines may be extended without penalty. Refunds will be considered based on circumstances and work completed.
